Denison University seeks to hire a General Counsel, the first to hold this role at Denison. The General Counsel will report directly to the President and be a key member of the President's senior staff, a dynamic and collaborative team.
The General Counsel will serve as the chief legal officer of the University, coordinate all of Denison's legal affairs, and provide advice and counsel to Denison's President, executive officers, management, faculty, and staff. The General Counsel will advise on legal matters, help protect the University's reputation and financial base, oversee outside counsel, and assist on compliance with federal, state and local laws governing private, non-profit institutions of higher learning.
