Definition and scope of this position is to provide clerical and administrative documentation support for the Messer Harmon team at the CVG Contract Project Oversee and assist in the implementation of processes, using all applicable software.
Reports to: Senior Project Manager for Messer Harmon Team
Required: Associate's Degree in Construction Management or related training from an accredited college.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related training from an accredited college.
Required: Divers License
Required: One to three years of experience with administrative and computer experience.
Preferred: Experience in the construction industry.
Skills and Abilities
Personal skills must include creativity, strong communication, organization and leadership. Must be accurate with all work including computer data entry. Must have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities, work independently, and deal with stress. Must understand advanced computer technology as it relates to the company’s business and to be conversant with current in-house reports as it applies to project management.
Must be able to perform mathematical calculations as required for preparation of reports. Must be able to sufficiently communicate, both verbally and in writing, technical and business information.
Work will be performed in the office and in the field. Workdays will vary in length. Travel to jobsites, seminars, conferences and meetings may be required. Work is fast paced and action/result oriented which may be stressful.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Log all submittal and shop drawings into an approved program for assigned projects.
Log all RFI’s into an approved program for assigned projects.
Input the project meeting minutes into an approved program for assigned projects.
Generate a master vendor listing per assigned project.
Develop and maintain bid vendor listings with break down by market segment.
Download, save and print documents and drawings as directed by Project Managers.
Tracking all contract documents (i.e. contracts, subcontracts, tax exempt forms, purchase orders, change orders, insurance) of assigned projects to ensure signed copies are on file and when applicable, enter into project software.
Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings.
Provide assistance to the Messer Harmon Construction Team.
Preform any other duties that are assigned.
