We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Redis Labs Cloud Orchestration team.As a member of the Cloud Orchestration team, you will be responsible for the software behind the fastest NoSQL clusters on earth, supporting more than 200 million ops/sec at sub-millisecond latency with true linear scalability.

In the past year alone, Redis Labs has been named to Deloitte s Technology Fast 500 EMEA, earned a spot on Dun & Bradstreet s 10 Best Startups to Work for in Israel, and been ranked one of the healthiest employers in the Bay Area.ResponsibilitiesDevelop the next generation of Redis Labs cloud orchestration products (RCP) and solutions.Own Redis Labs cloud orchestration products features end-to-end, from design through development, testing, and deployment.Design and create resilient and robust cloud orchestration systems and become a top-tier cloud expert.Improve and maintain the Redis Labs cloud orchestration products infrastructure, enhancing the product s ability to reliably handle many thousands of databases and keeping customers mission-critical data safe.Participate in various open-source projects that Redis Labs maintains and/or contributes to.Work closely with team members, Product, DevOps, Support, Customer Success, and other R&D teams.RequirementsThree or more years of hands-on backend development experience working on a large-scale production grade systemExcellent coding skills with a good understanding of large-scale architecture and design patternsA B.Sc.
in Computer Science or Software Engineering / equivalent experienceSelf-direction, ambition, and eagerness to learn new thingsPassionate about technology (always learning about new tech)Advantages:Experience with Python, Kubernetes, DockerExperience with NoSQL databases (especially Redis)Good understanding of cloud concepts and API design
